AUN-QA – The Standard of Quality in Southeast Asia
AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance) is a prestigious set of quality assurance standards established to ensure and enhance the educational quality of academic programs across universities in the ASEAN region. Participating in the AUN-QA assessment not only reaffirms the University’s commitment to educational quality but also elevates its academic reputation, enhances degree recognition, and expands international study and career opportunities for students.
Comprehensive and Synchronized Preparation
Recognizing the significance and importance of this accreditation, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology initiated systematic and rigorous preparations early on. The review and updates of Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs), detailed syllabi, teaching and assessment methodologies, as well as the preparation of supporting evidence, have been systematically implemented in strict accordance with the AUN-QA 4.0 framework.
In addition, the faculty members of the Electrical Engineering program, and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology as a whole, have continuously enhanced their professional competence. They have innovated their teaching methods toward a learner-centered approach, increasing practical sessions, laboratory experiments, projects, and corporate connections to help students comprehensively develop both professional knowledge and occupational skills.
Modern Facilities and Learning Environment
Quy Nhon University possesses a system of modern computer labs, laboratories, and an advanced IT infrastructure that effectively meets the requirements of training and research in the field of engineering. A dynamic, disciplined, and internationally standardized learning environment serves as a crucial foundation for the academic program to fulfill the rigorous quality criteria of AUN-QA.
The Collaboration of Stakeholders
The AUN-QA accreditation process involves the active participation and feedback of various stakeholders, including current students, alumni, faculty, employers, and corporate partners. These valuable insights have been continuously received, analyzed, and integrated by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology for ongoing improvement, ensuring that the academic program remains closely aligned with the practical needs of the labor market and technological trends.
Affirming Quality – Heading Towards Integration
The AUN-QA accreditation for the Electrical Engineering program is not only an opportunity for the Faculty of Engineering and Technology to comprehensively review and evaluate its training quality, but also a major step forward in the University’s regional and international integration strategy.
