On
October 27, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering & Technology (FET)
successfully held the Staff and Employee Conference for the 2024–2025 academic
year. The Faculty was honored to welcome Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung,
President of Quy Nhon University, who attended and provided strategic guidance
for the conference.
In the
2023–2024 academic year, the Faculty achieved outstanding success across
enrollment, training, scientific research, and quality accreditation, with
several notable highlights:

Achievements (2023–2024)
- Personnel
Development: 01 staff member appointed as Associate Professor; 01 staff
member completed Advanced Political Theory; 03 staff members earned a
second degree in English Linguistics.
- Academic
Excellence: 04 staff members successfully completed their PhD programs,
including 03 graduates from international institutions in Japan, Poland,
and Taiwan.
- Accreditation:
Successfully achieved national educational quality accreditation for the Electronics
and Telecommunications Engineering undergraduate program; completed the
self-assessment for the Electrical Engineering Master’s program.
- Enrollment:
Student recruitment in 2024 increased by over 20% compared to 2023.
- Scientific
Research: * 01 Ministry-level project successfully completed; 01
Ministry-level project approved for 2025 implementation.
- 03 Student
Research awards at the University level (01 First, 01 Second, and 01
Third Prize).
- 01 project
selected for the 2024 Eureka National Student Scientific Research Prize.

Looking
ahead, the Faculty of Engineering & Technology will focus on the following
key tasks:
- Quality Standards:
Complete the external evaluation of the Master’s program in Electrical
Engineering and register the undergraduate Electrical Engineering program
for AUN-QA 4.0 international standards accreditation.
- Program Expansion:
Develop a proposal to launch a PhD program in Electrical Engineering.
- Curriculum
Development: Update and refine the training programs for 04 departments to
ensure modern industry alignment.
- Advanced
Technology: Concentrate resources on equipment and faculty capacity
building for the IC Design (Semiconductor) specialization.
- Student Outreach:
Strengthen career orientation and admission counseling for high school
students.
- Global & Local
Partnerships: Expand collaborations with domestic and international
universities; join forces to build international projects and research at
State, Ministry, and Provincial levels.
