On the morning of February 15, 2023, a delegation from FPT Software Central Vietnam (FSoft) visited and held a working session with the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. The meeting aimed to establish a framework for extensive collaboration regarding training and recruitment for students in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (Code: 7520207) and Control and Automation Engineering (Code: 7520216).

Key Discussion Points

During the session, FSoft representatives presented the current demand for high-quality human resources in Quy Nhon and the Central region. They expressed a keen interest in receiving feedback and proposals from the Faculty to optimize training cooperation and recruitment, while also addressing existing challenges in the partnership.

Dr. Huynh Nguyen Bao Phuong summarized the recent collaborative activities between the two units. He proposed that FSoft provide additional equipment support for the IoT & Embedded Lab and offer scholarships to deserving students. Furthermore, the Faculty emphasized the importance of industry input in updating curriculum standards and facilitating student internships.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Duc Hoan expressed his gratitude for FSoft’s interest in the Faculty's educational mission. He reaffirmed the Faculty’s commitment to enhancing training quality and practical skills, ensuring that students meet the rigorous competency requirements of the industry.

Conclusion and Future Cooperation

The meeting concluded with both parties reaching an agreement on several key initiatives:

Branding: Using shared imagery to promote mutual admission and recruitment activities.
Student Engagement: Organizing "Office Tours" and practical internship programs for students.
Facility Support: FSoft committed to donating specialized equipment to the IoT & Embedded Lab.
Recruitment Commitment: Signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) regarding recruitment priorities for graduates in Electronics-Telecommunications and Control-Automation Engineering.
