On the morning of December 13, 2024, the Faculty of Engineering
& Technology (FET) at Quy Nhon University hosted a working session with a
delegation from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Science
and Technology – The University of Danang (DUT).
During the meeting, Dr. Huynh Nguyen Bao Phuong, Dean of FET,
presented an overview of the Faculty’s history, development, outstanding
achievements, and the specialized research directions of its lecturers.
Representing the visiting delegation, Dr. Trinh Trung Hieu, Dean of the Faculty
of Electrical Engineering (DUT), introduced their academic programs, research
initiatives, and international cooperation activities, while highlighting
potential areas for future synergy.
The two parties discussed and proposed specific collaborative
frameworks, including:
Academic Exchange: Jointly organizing scientific conferences to
exchange knowledge and professional expertise.
Joint Research: Collaborating on research projects focusing on
advanced and modern technologies to meet practical development needs.
Postgraduate Training: Partnering in graduate education and
high-quality human resource development aligned with the Industry 4.0 era.
Following the discussion, the delegation toured the Faculty’s
facilities, with a particular focus on the Smart Grid Laboratory.
The working session concluded successfully, marking a
significant milestone in the relationship between the two faculties and
universities. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to further developing
cooperative projects to promote education, scientific research, and technology
transfer for a sustainable future.
