On October 12, 2025, at Hall C, the Faculty of Engineering & Technology solemnly organized a series of Workshops & Seminars for the Civil Engineering major, attracting a large attendance of Teachers and students.

The Workshop & Seminar were honored by the presence of Dr. Tran Thanh Thai – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology; Dr. Nguyen Mai Chi Trung – Vice Dean; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thang – Program Director of the Civil Engineering major, along with Teachers of the Faculty and all students of the Civil Engineering major.

Within the framework of the program, the Workshop “BIM Application in Construction” brought deep and practical insights from experts:

  • Eng. Nguyen Trong Nghia – Director of Central Consulting & Trading Co., Ltd. (Revit MEP);
  • Arch. Nguyen Quoc Thai Thien – BIM Specialist – Architecture;
  • Eng. Phan Nhu Hien – BIM Specialist – Structure;
  • Mr. Mai Tan Lien Phuong – BIM Advisor.

The speakers brought many fresh perspectives on Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology – an inevitable trend in the modern construction industry.

Following the program, the Seminar “Calculation of Wind Loads on Reinforced Concrete High-rise Buildings according to TCVN 2737:2023”, presented by M.Sc. Pham Thi Lan, a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, helped students better understand the new design standards and their application in construction practice.

This series of Workshops & Seminars serves as a bridge between theory and reality, helping students access digital transformation trends in construction, develop modern engineering mindsets, and expand future career orientations.

The exciting atmosphere, learning spirit, and lively interaction created a meaningful and inspiring professional activity!

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology – Quy Nhon University would like to sincerely thank the experts, Teachers, and all students for contributing to the success of the program!
